Question 4

To access Youtube I needed an internet connection. Once on the website it was easy to use and loaded quickly.

Blogger was easy to use, even though it was the first time I had used the site and I was able to navigate the site easily. This site was great to use as it meant I could clearly layout all of my work and uploading images, video and text was really quick and easy to do.

I found photoshop really easy to use and felt that this lead to a good digipak. The program was easily laid out and the tools helped develop my work.

This was the first time that I had used this program, so I did a tester video and picked up how to use it quite easily. The program was easy to use and the effects, editing and transitions able meant that my work cold be developed to a good standard.

At first I found after effects quite hard to use, but after doing two cloning sections I soon picked up how to use it and thought tht i executed the cloning to a good standard.

I have uploaded to facebook and youtube before and the process is really quick and once uploaded really effective as I managed to get feedback on my music video from these sites.

Development of Music Video

I used Premier Pro to develop my music video. Below is a print screen of the workspace and how the screen is set up. To the left I have all imported clips. In the top right I have the video scrren so i can view my video as I'm cutting it and at the bottom I have my timeline.
Above is a print screen of my shots. Once I have filmed and captures them off of the camera, I then import them from a saved file and they appear here. I then drag them into the timeline at the bottom, shown below and here I can use the tools to cut, re arrange, plot and make the video.
The tools are situated at the bottom right of the screen, the main ones that I used where the cutting tool, which is the little razor icon, and the resizing tool, which is to the left of the razor. This allowed me to stretch out, or shorted clips and was really useful especially when doing shots in slow motion.

Target Audience

Here is an analysis of the different places I could advertise my finished advertisement, whether it be on a bus, phone box, shop window or magazine. The advertisment needs to be clear, to the point with bold text that catch the audience's eyes and persuade them to purchase the cd.

I would say that the target audience for my magazine are 12-24 year olds. Appealing to teens and young adults. I think that the advert and cd cover I have created appeals to them and is suitable to this age range. Above are a few mock ups of what the advert could look like in different suitable areas. I think that the areas I plan to put my adverts suit the age group, for example in magazines where there primary readers are of the same age group means that I can appeal to the right audience. Other ideas of appealing to my target audience would be to advertise on user generated websites such as Youtube and Facebook, again who have the same age range I am looking to target.

Development of Digipak

Below is a print screen of the layers that I built up. I had text, pictures, effects and added extras such as the leaves I added on. They are all organised in this box. Re-arranging the order of the list would let me have for example text over text, if the image was above the text then I would not be able to see it, so making sure to have them organised in right order is key. I also used tools that were located ont he left hand side of the screen. There were cropping tools, paint brushes, text boxes, and colour options located here so this toolbox needed to be opened and in use. Using the tools I was able to take pictures of leaves and turn them into cut outs so that they could be placed over the pictures.
