Diary Account
I got the majority of my filming completed on Saturday 13th November, I took a camera and a tripod to Darenth country park, my friend chloe was with me as I had asked her to be filmed for my music video.We started off doing some running shots up and down a quite lane but soon found that people were using the road so we had to move location to get the right shot.
We moved onto a quite area, where there was a large field. It was around midday and I was able to get some really good lighting in this area. Shots I filmed here included hair flicking, running, spinning and the time lapse shots looking out onto the motorway.
We then moved into a more covered area of woodland, where we got alot of running shots filmed. The lighting here wasn't as good, as the trees blocked the sun. This meant that the majority of my shots looked dark and I had to edit them into looking lighter. Although I did want there to be some dark shots to fit in with the mysterious/ lost theme I was looking to achieve.
On Sunday I then went to a river bank where there is a small beach. I did some filming here. The weather wasn't very nice and this came across in my filming giving a dark look to the lighting. But this worked well as there girl in the woods was meant to contrast the girl by the river, so have the girl dressed in white in the sun and they the girl in black with the grey sky behind her worked well.
